Wanna Research a Farm?

“Love is the most durable power in the world.  Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.”

–Martin Luther King, Jr.

Currently, we base our research in northeast Ohio.  But we also hear about some wonderful farms and venues in other areas of the country.  Some of these are listed below, and we invite consumer participants to check these out and tell us what you see.  If you’d like some suggested questions to ask farmers, please go back to the homepage.

Remember the general rule:  We ask that you to see these places yourself and check out their practices.  You don’t have to do an inspection;  Just talk to the farmer and see if it looks like the animals are living pretty much as the farmer says they do, and come back to tell us about your experience.

There are a few exceptions to this “see it yourself” rule.  Sometimes farmers have unusual circumstances that warrant their asking us not to visit.  If you have a good feeling about this farmer, we can still list them with a note about why we have not actually seen this farm.  You can also tell us why you trust this farmer.  Tell us anything that you think is useful information.  After all, this project is about making choices that are informed.

Here are some farms we would love you to visit and tell us about.  It starts with Ohio, so if you live elsewhere, then scroll on down:
